Explosives Store progress 28 08 14

Work started on the conservation work at the North Explosives Store.  This work is funded by Natural England and delivered by William Anelays.  The volunteers have started work on taking down damaged walls so that they can be rebuilt in good order. The Anelays team installed the scaffolding and the volunteers put in 30 hourts of time to start removing the walls.  The stones are stored around the building and arranged in the same order as when they were part of the building – so that the walls can be rebuilt to look like the original building.
