The access road to the smelting mill will be rebuilt by contractors starting on 9th February 2015.  The road will be closed for one week to allow this repair work.

The section to be rebuilt will be between the woodyard and Mill Cottage.

Alternative access will be available via the Quarry access road which joins the A689 adjacent to Granary Cottage. Please note that this access is not a public road and is not open to vehicles.
